Timing ⏰

Guests are welcome to arrive at any time Saturday August 5th. We hope to start serving some refreshments about 10am, but know that there will be coffee (or stronger) brewing and fresh all-day.

Please find your way to lodging when safe, but by 10am August 6th we ask that you depart to where you’re staying to get a shower and refresh, especially if you’re joining for the after-party events of the Orioles game and Beyoncé concert.

Food 🦀

Snacks will be coming out and being refreshed all day, much like the self-service full bar and beer fridge will be open til whenever.

Sometime in the afternoon the seafood will arrive and the seafood boil will start. At that time, we’ll start prepping the brats, burgers, and other mains. There will be incredible deserts after some dinner cleanup.

Entertainment 🪩

There will be a pre-recorded, custom DJ mix played back across* the household media system, optimized for good vibes and the right moods to help drive positive, chill energy. Also, some of the tunes will slap and it might have some funny samples.

* There will be lots of AirPlay-capable devices in the home, we ask that you please do not connect to AirPlay devices during the party as it potentially disrupts the music across the house, is a headache to fix, and (worst of all) is a total buzzkill for the mood.

Activities 🏸

We’ll set up some corn hole and if folks are interested we have the equipment and space badminton as well as a few bar-type games like beer pong, etc.

We have LEGOs and jigsaw puzzles to build, card and dice and board games to play. This will not be the time for a tabletop RPG because we’re going to need that tabletop for seafood, no disrespect intended (this is a pro-DnD family).

There are three 2-player 3/4 scale arcade game cabinets and one 4-player variant of the same, as well as a well-equipped collection of modern and retro consoles with up to 4-player capabilities.

Amenities 🎊

• Parking 🅿️: Limited space available on a first-come, first-service basis

• Two full bathrooms 🚻: one on the ground floor and one upstairs (please also)

• Indoor and outdoor seating🪑:

  • Outdoor 🏕️: we’ll have the garage door open with chairs, one more tents on the driveway and backyard with chairs, seating for half-a-dozen with an umbrella on the deck, and seating for four on the covered front porch.

  • Indoor 🏠: we have comfortable seating for a dozen in each of our living room and theater, the kitchen can seat four with plenty of space for idling. The guest bedroom and upstairs bedroom will be off-limits and the office and basement will offer places to play video games.

• Wi-Fi 6 🛜: full property coverage available to guests, providing gigabit fiber internet service

• First aid ⛑️🪫: from sunscreen to cuts and scrapes, or battery banks or phone chargers, we got you covered

• Party favor 🎁: each guest will receive a unique, themed collectible item and a local favorite ingredient gift, perhaps more! And of course, a basket of leftover food to bring your goodies home.
