The front yard and driveway will be available on a first-come, first-served basis with space reserved to enable us to have a clear path for deliveries and pickups that are part of the supporting logistics for fresh seafood.

Unfortunately, due to space constraints and the amount of equipment, we will not be able to support guest EV charging during the event. We’d be happy to direct you to local EV charging and coordinate a shuttle to compensate anyone who would need to charge an EV.

No, we are expecting lots of folks to need parking and we need to respect our neighborhood lawns. We’d be happy to help suggest nearby locations that can accommodate you.

Unfortunately we don’t have space to accommodate everyone comfortably and safely, so please plan ahead to find local lodging.

We’re not big on telling other people what to do, but we do have a basic household rule: we respect others and are inclusive in our beliefs and language.

Similar to our party guidance about COVID-19, we do not tolerate disrespect or engage with bad-faith actors or belief systems. If you can’t truck with that, hit the bricks.

Per the CDC, the public health emergency is over as of May 11, 2023. If you are more comfortable wearing a mask for any reason, you are more than welcome.

The event will be indoors and outdoors with open seating in multiple rooms, a deck with umbrella, front porch with chairs, and seating in the fenced in backyard. In case of inclement weather, we can open the garage and deploy folding tables and we will have a one or more tents available. This contingency plan was deployed very successfully the first year of the party.

If you have a problem with someone else masking, then don’t come to this event. We respect individual’s health and safety concerns in our house.

Mainly hanging out with friends and enjoying great refreshments. There will be a great soundtrack prepared just for this event by Mark.

We’ll definitely have some corn hole and badminton setup, as well as an array of indoor entertainment options from card and board games to LEGO builds to video games of all sorts, including several multiplayer arcade cabinets.

There’s also a little dog that runs around and tries to steal ham and look cute.

The main meal will a seafood boil with shrimp, crabs, corn, potatoes, and more. For the land-lubbers and allergic, we’ll also have classic beer-batter brats and burgers. For vegetarians, there will be beyond burgers and a broad array of incredible vegetable oriented mains and snacks.

Drinks will be available from plain ice water to juices and carbonated waters to soft drinks, craft and domestic beers, wines, and a full bar.

Other adult recreation options may be present.

No! We always have way too much food and drink at these events, we only want to see your smiling faces and hungry bellies.

Our 10 lb. chihuahua is wonderful around children and adults! She is not a nice dog to other dogs, however: she unfortunately gets very territorial, doesn’t share, and starts trouble she can’t finish.

Given this scenario, we’d ask you leave your pets at home or with a sitter. *

Not really? The crab party is not a family friendly, child-oriented event. If childcare prevents you from attending and you are comfortable understand that they will need to be supervised and won’t have dedicated activities (unlike most other Daly events), you can feel free to bring children. Please tell us in advance so we can ensure clear communications. Similar to inclement weather contingencies, we have battle-tested this party scenario in prior Daly events with great success.
