History

The first crab party started in 2018, as a way to reconnect with old friends who had travelled away or weren’t able to see each other as regularly as we’d like. It also provided a great environment to discover like-minded new friends from our overlapping social circles and different phases of life.

The next crab part was in 2019, and was greatly expanded in size: we had folks visiting from Texas to Vermont and we knew that the crab party must now be enshrined as an annual tradition.

Then the global pandemic and the associated dissolution of the social order occurred. We’re only getting our legs back under ourselves after various health and career adventures the past few years.

Now, the show must go on and the crab party will be back with another banging soundtrack and even more incredible food.
